About me
I have started my data mining PhD studies in September 2008. My main topic is pattern classification in time-series with applications in human-computer interaction and ubiquitous computing.News
- September 2010 - Presenting open-source data mining tools at Data Mining Expert course and presenting at RCOMM 2010.
- August 2010 - Our methodological paper on cross-validation has been accepted to RCOMM 2010. You can download the paper here. Please feel free to give feedback in email!
- July 2010 - I attended the PASCAL Bootcamp machine learning summer school in Marseille, France.
- June 2010 - We have finished on the 8th place in the KDD Cup data mining contest. You can read a blogpost in Hungarian here.
- May 2010 - I have been accepted for a Visegrad Fund scholarship, so I will spend 5 months in Prague, Czech Republic, in the next academic year. I will work with Daniel Novak and his group.
- April 2010 - My first core data mining paper was accepted to Poster 2010.
- March 2010 - Attending Exact Pattern Recognition spring school at the Technical University of Madrid.
- February 2010 - I have finished on the 6th place in the RSCTC data mining contest. You can read a blogpost in Hungarian about my methods here.
